Computer Needs

Refurbishing a computer lab

One of our greatest losses to Hurricane Wilma was a computer lab we set up in a local community.

Students are required to learn computer skills in school but do not have computers at home to complete homework.

This lab was a very important part of the education of the children and youth of the village.

Many would make a visit after school and some teachers would bring their classes to work in the lab.

Adults also had the opportunity to learn computer skills with the lab. The next step was to create a library in the building next to the lab.

The lab and all of it computers were destroyed during the hurricane.

We are in great need of computers that can run Windows XP or Windows Vista to re-open the lab as well as create new labs in different communities.

If you can help, please contact us and we will make sure your donation is used to return this education back to our students
