Villiage Construction

Village construction is one of the largest needs on the island. Hurricanes Francis, Jean and Wilma ravaged the island and the destruction is still evident to date. Houses were completely moved off their foundations and some completely stripped of windows, doors and interiors. We work hard to help repair roofs, replace doors and windows and sometimes even reconstruct parts of the houses completely. When a family can have a freshly painted house in a bright color they receive a sense of pride in their world. We move from village to village and try to help locals as best we can. It is important for groups to come for short term missions so we can work faster and help more people as time passes. A group can paint a house in two days which allows whole villages to be refurbished faster and the message of the love of our Lord and Savior to move through the villages as well.
